How to Exit the Trade

Once a trade has been opened, the natural question is;

"When should I close this trade?" 

Because of the powerful sway of emotions during this time, closing either a winning trade or a losing position can be challenging!  

To my view, every good exit strategy must satisfy three key elements to be most effective.  These are:

1. The upside is not limited.
2. Loss is cut short.
3. Profit is reasonably protected.
